The purpose of the Lawrence County Industrial Development Council as per the Articles of Incorporation are to encourage industrial, commercial, business, wholesale and retail development, as well as, other supporting services which will provide good job opportunities, broaden the tax base and improve the quality of living in Lawrence County Illinois.
The Lawrence County Industrial Development Council provides comprehensive economic development services to companies that are seeking locations for new facilities. Those services include: assistance with facility location studies, feasibility studies and building and site searches. The organization maintains a comprehensive database of industrial sites and buildings, provides detailed community information, and assists companies in all phases of site selection. All services are free-of-charge. Information related to facility location projects will be kept STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL.
